Delete your VizRC account
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This page explains how to delete your VizRC account (published by VizDNA LLC) and what happens to your data when you do.
How to request deletion
In the VizRC app:
- Open the Driver tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
If you cannot reach the app — for example you have already removed it from your device — email [email protected] from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We will action it and confirm by reply.
What happens next
Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. It then enters a 30-day grace period. If you sign in again during those 30 days, your account and all of its data are restored exactly as they were — this is deliberate, so that an accidental deletion is recoverable.
After 30 days the account and its data are permanently deleted automatically. This is not reversible, and we cannot recover a race history once it has passed that point.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, display name, handle, and any linked Apple or Google sign-in identifier.
- Your race data: sessions, heats, lap times, positions, setup snapshots and notes.
- Your garage: vehicles, electronics, parts, maintenance records and tire inventory.
- Photos you uploaded, including session photos and images submitted for AI identification.
- Your social data: follows, likes, shares and any share links you created.
- Your subscription record held by VizRC.
What is kept, and for how long
- Community catalog entries. If you added or corrected a shared catalog row — a chassis, tire or electronics entry other racers also use — that row remains, without any link to you. Removing it would delete other racers' data.
- Aggregate and anonymised statistics that cannot be traced back to you or your account.
- Records we are required to keep by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes, for the period the relevant law requires.
- Subscription records held by Apple or Google. Deleting your VizRC account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the App Store or Google Play, and see their policies for what they retain.
- Backups. Data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period after deletion before those backups age out.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove individual data. In the app you can delete any of your own sessions, vehicles, photos and notes at any time — each is removed when you delete it. To request removal of something you cannot delete in the app, email [email protected] and we will action it.
Export your data first
Deletion is permanent. If you want a copy of your race history, export it before you delete: Driver → Settings → Export My Data. The export is JSON and includes your sessions, setups and garage.
